John Wilkins
John is a healthcare professional in the USA. He has worked with computers for over 10 years and is self-taught in the basics of webpage design and computers while striving to learn new techniques in his spare time. John has four websites that he built and maintains all of which include award programs.
The Lynx Award program (nw),
which was established in 1997, was one of the first Stand-alone Award Programs on the Internet, making John a true pioneer of the awards community.
Juhani Kerkkonen
Born in Helsinki (where he also lives at the moment), Finland on 13th of March 1947.
He is interested in Philosophical Logic, Languages, Literature, Internet, etc...
Since 1975 he has been a clerical employee of The Social Insurance Institution of Finland (SII)(nw), at the moment as a Systems Analyst. He is the Owner and Webmaster of Conceptanalysis, Language and Logic (nw) and CLL Website Awards Program (nw).
Ruth Bailey
Ruth Bailey has been an evaluator for quite a few years, and the webmistress and owner of Ruth's Haven Awards since 2000. She has been working on website development since 1999. Ruth is self taught in Web Design and held her own business for 2 years where she made websites for a few small companies.
The Ruths Haven Awards Program is rated 4.5 by Awards Sites (nw), 5 by UWSAG (nw), 4 by Webs Awards (nw), 4 by Olymp-Award Index (nw), Elite 5+ by I.W.A.R.A. (nw) and 4 by APIRS (nw)
Ruth is also a founding member of a group called Webmates (nw). Each member pledges to help not less than six people during a calendar year as evidence of our belief that knowledge sharing and empowerment of the individual will widen our circle, and improve the quality of the world wide web as a natural process.
Ruth uses a pentium 4 - 3.1ghz computer with 1gig ram, and with a 19" monitor she can view all resolutions. She uses IE, NS, Opera web browsers, and accessibility bar in all her reviews.
Ruth is also a TEAM certified evaluator as well as a TEAM mentor, TEAM award master and TEAM player. She is also an Evaluator for UWSAG (nw), is on the compliance committee of APEX (nw), a member of COE Global and is also a staff member of WWWEC. Finally Ruth is a member of the Ethics Pledge Program (nw) and is a I.W.A.R.A. Certified Evaluator (nw)
Ruth evaluates for Witheridge Awards, Keepsake Awards, Korea Awards, Rhi-Wards and The Scaramouche Award Program.
